Voxpops

    Today we all went to birkenhead to film the voxpops for the documentary. We set up in 'The Pyramids' shopping centre and asked a few people questions on communication and social networking. When we watched them back in school we realised we had made the mistake of filming infront of a window and the reflections of people walking past were distracting.

    So the next time we came to do our voxpops we decided to go to Liscard instead. Here we asked people the same questions as before but to different people. Some of the voxpops we used as the lighting was perfect but as it got dark it meant streetlights got in the way of the shots and caused distractions so we could not use them.

 

    We went to Liscard for one more time during our lunch to get a few more voxpops and again asked people the same questions. We used one of the voxpops in our final documentary as the weather made the lighting terrible.



    The questions we asked people are as follows:

1. What ways do you use to communicate with people?

2. What social networking sites do you use?

However we only used question two in ourm documentary as the interviews with the teenagers helped answer question one for us.
